TICs applied to the Education in Dominican Republic
About technological bases this forum is an approach in the digital revolution actually. Advances in electronic sciences and computers offer digital learning environments. Cognitive sciences must manage new methodologies of teaching. Educational Technology must be introduced inside educator curricula in Dominican Republic. Actual society in this country needs new actions thinking in TICs. Our society recognizes this necessity. The project of this forum looks for tools and activities to resolve this question inside educational degrees in process of innovation.

About the application of the technologies of the information and of communication (TICS) to the education in Dominican Republic, I think that it will be a great advance for our education, since the teachers can use the TICS to facilitate the education of some aspects of his respective subject. In addition we are in a time where the technology is an extremely important factor in all the aspects of the life, and in certain form it is a way of bringing the students over more to the learning, since using the TICS the student is going to learn in an entertaining way.
I propose the use of the computers and of date show, since I think that these are the most complete instruments in what it is necessary to improve the quality of our education, and I think that it is time to be extracting the pencils and notebooks of our classrooms.
I understand that the economy of our country even is not prepared to facilitate a computer to every student, but I think that little by little we can manage.
The TICS open a new way with thousands of doors for the improvement of our education, and to exploit this content depends on us.
the internet is an important source for each of the users, maunly for us students. it is source of information because they help us, has information quick and also helps us, in ourdevelopment tecnological has national and gloval levels. since its inception the internet was disigned to communicate whith the world via internet for my has been very helful.

In my opinion, today's technology and communication has become part of our culture. Today it is necessary to teach society about the use of TICS, because all around us is part of the technology, we are in the digital age.
The Internet is a global network, and I think the internet is like a big artificial brain, the most intelligent of the world, which all people around the world can benefit positively, learn and grow as a person and professional.
As for us we are studying, trained in a career is very important that we are connected to the Tics, it is a great complement to education.

Hi I came to talk about the use of computers are very important because with them can: investigate our classes, chat and so on. Computers are very important in our time because without them we could not do many things, have many uses that I could not explain.
I will speak about wi-fi. It is very important for the education,because it helps to the students to access the web more fast, then with this they can find informations about whatever thing easier. The wi-fi is too used for many people mainly for students, because is more easy to be connected from anywhere without having to connect nothing. In our country there are many wi-fi zone in which people come and use this service for free.
In fact educational technology is a phenomenon that affects us day after day but no doubt as to its great benefits. It is a great advantage to teach and learn THROUGH educational software in a fun and less monotono.En our country is very necessary to implement this kind of teaching method, as the teaching method commonly used in schools often not very efficient. The educational softwre are a new way to make the student a different perspective of what is learned in a fun, motivating, and creating an awareness of not seeing the studies as a nightmare. Achievement and would be a more even one step further in developing the power to implement this type of instruction in all schools in the country.
A good idea about this theme I think that is the installation of computer centers in schools or other educational institutions, because the process of the TICS promotes the preservation and circulation of information that we can transform it into useful knowledge.

The TICs
Well, I think every Profetional must knows what are TICs and their impacts in the dominican education, because these tools have made a big soport for the advances in the technologic areas. I think the TICS are tools that help to people to do a better work, for example, presentations use, technologic centers a many thinks like telephone, cell-phone, and some teaching methods specifically teaching programs.
The Information Technology and Communication (ICT) are indisputable and are there, are part of the technological culture that surrounds us and with which we live.
I think that in the Dominican Republic found a maintainer in the information technology and communication (TICs). should have a process of learner more modernized in our school or that we have what you are computarisadas libraries etc but not just in schools everyone should also be modernized with mobile phones, laptops, mp3, etc. to expand our minds more every day.

Although the computer has become an essential tool for students and for education, The notebooks and the pencils, and all tools that we have used through time, can not disappear... Because, those tools help us with other facets of education that are truly important, such as spelling and grammar. I mean, if we all time use computer, just for is the advance... a lot of students will forget the correct way to write, because it will have no obligation to do so. And the spelling of a student says a lot

There is other fact in what i think a lot.
In the past, the students had to go to the library and read books to do their homework. And as they read a lot, they learned more in all aspects.
But now, there are students that use the copy and page, and don´t read nothing, and this causes that, them be less intelligent.
And this is a bad mode, that some students have adopted.

The TICs are one of better methods of teaching in the last times. Why? Really by means of the technology is more easy , comfortable and fun the apprenticeship , in a fact , the TICs are good way for the Dominican education development as much as for the teacher like for the student. Something that can help the TICs is the Mobile Learning, but in the way that I'm talking about this "learning" is not accesible for everybody. This is just my comment about how can this help people that have access to this Technology.
Mobile learning refers to the idea of learning under the guidance of the use of mobile communications devices such as mobile phones, PDA, PocketPC, MP4, iPod and e-book reader devices. 3G Technology enhance this new way of learning. 3G Technology allow a new vision of education. Internet anywhere at anytime without wires, with a device that can be your own cellphone. More people can access to the internet, at very high speeds. With this technology we can access to rich media based learning contents such as audio and video based learning tools, with a portable device that fit in every pocket.
Well, I think is indispensable also for the development of TICs, staff with the knowledge for to teach from the smallest to the largest about the TICs, because a teacher will always be necessary in all teaching.

I learned that each person has a way of learning they are: visual, hearing, for contact (active) or theory, taking it like support I can say that the employment of TICS in the learning make easier for students retain knowledge without the kind of learning that each one have.
So, the employment of photos, sounds, videos, tactile material, technology and information together ensures the success.
